Dapper 1959

Barber shop vibes as many others have said and dare I say better than Xerjoffs barber shop scent. The dry down on my skin is spicy and powdery with a hint of leather like the chairs you sit in at an old school barber shop. It’s so rich and addicting to smell. If you’re looking for the essence of a barber shop in a bottle I highly recommend this scent.

I always wondered what that delightful smell was when I use to go to get my hair cut at the barbershop; but man when I tell you that this “Dapper 1959” is that very smell, this is truly that smell. Smells Superb 💯.

Your site's write-up on this juice was spot on. A couple of observations. First, a definite positive, the citrus top is the freshest and most long-lasting I've smelt in a barbershop fragrance. Probably because of the lemon verbena added to the citrus. Genius! Second, since I'm not a fan of Musk, I was very happy that the dry-down spends little time on that note. Thank you! The base is outstanding -- woods, leather, pepper, etc. In brief, this juice is straight up the best barbershop I own (and I have several), and is, in fact, one of the best from this house, IMHO. I will be spreading the good news about this extremely wearable, enjoyable, "put me in a good mood" fragrance. Great job!

In 1959, Givenchy introduced Monsieur de Givenchy, which became my signature scent for many years. Since it has been changed/discontinued, I've been sampling scents from other houses for many years now, trying to find something with the same qualities: classic, discreet, elegant, well groomed, confident. Nothing has given me the experience of those qualities until now. Dapper 1959 has hit the spot for me. Thank you for creating this fragrance.

This is my all time favorite barbershop fragrance. I cherished a sample for a long time until finally getting a bottle. I always want this in my collection and Inown a LOT of fragrances. 10/10!
