Legacy

Of the fragrances that I've purchased from here, this is the best blended. Not saying that the others aren't, they needed some time to come together. This, after 4 test sprays the day I got it. And 6 sprays the next day for a full wearing. A test spray later that night after a shower. Where this fragrance is now, is where it was after that single test spray. First 4 sprays didn't get much of the rose or the vanilla, but picked up on everything else. The next 6 sprays were rose dominant, didn't think I was gonna like it. But once it reached the dry down, it all came together. You get that nice bergamot lemon in the opening, really smooth. Not chemical or sharp, just smooth. The mandarin can be felt peaking through as well, really nice. And you can tell that it's underneath the opening notes. As of right now, when the opening and the mandarin wear off, I'd be hard pressed to really pick out any individual note. The rose isn't prominent anymore, and I don't pick up the vanilla too much. To me, that's how seamlessly blended this is. The way this dries down; is what you get in opening, but with the added citrus notes. So there's is a small transition. The longevity, even from the first sprays on my skin, was over 10 hours. And it's constantly being detected. Only other one from here that has reached that length of time. The Sauvage Elixir one. The worst is that The First Hero one Man I'm PO'd about that one! After over 3 months, longevity is still trash! As of this review, I'm over 10 hours now with Legacy. It'll probably go another 2 or so more hours. Sexy date night fragrance in my opinion. Not sure about the office, even though it's non-offensive. Don't let the notes fool you, I've worn this in the heat. It never became cloying or overwhelming. Can be worn all year, very nice release! Hey Hany, I'm seeing a lot of reviews from people who buy full bottles because they received samples. I've yet to receive "ANY"! I'm blind buying "EVERYTHING" based off of accords that I like. I'd appreciate a little love my man!

On the drydown, it smells like a blend of Amouage Outlands and Decision, but the top has a smooth, sweet, lemony vanilla profile. If you enjoy Alexandria's Judgment Call, you might like this even more. Bought a 100ml the same day I received a sample.

Alexandria fragrance you didn’t again! Legacy is a great fragrance for spring or fall, but honestly, I could see myself wearing it year round. The notes are on point—the ginger and vanilla blend beautifully, while the amber gives it a rich, high-quality feel. I wore it today and received several compliments already. Definitely a fragrance I’ll be buying again!

Blown away by this scent, and although it would probably considered a summer scent and we are approaching fall, I think I just might have to pick this up. The citrus and ginger synergize wonderfully, with the frankincense and vanilla giving it a little depth. Juniper is present but doesn't overwhelm and the rose and jasmine give it character without making it too unisex. Actually thinking about it, this can be used to spring and fall due to it's heavier notes balancing it's bright and fresh notes. This is a total winner.
