Anubis Kiss

I won’t rehash all of the things that have been stated about this fragrance already, but I’ll just say it’s seriously high quality and the musky dry down that is a trademark of Alessandro Gualtieri’s Nasomotto and Orto Parisi fragrances was captured perfectly in this fragrance. I cannot tell the difference from the original fragrances. I will be grabbing the three other fragrances that I didn’t get that are Nasomatto inspired-by.

I just got my 5ml of this & I have a reference point, I have worn Bl@ck @fg@no extrait & it’s a masterpiece through & through… this particular batch I do so hope is representative of every batch (I own full bottles of Vanille de Fatal (a fragrance I 🫶 with a name not so much 😛), Baby don’t Cry (she took some time to come around, but once she did I was SO glad I got the 100, like many reading this I collect & I am hoping I make it through spring before having to buy another bottle, she gets more wear than most) Monaliza (very similar to Portrait, I wear her over Porpora as both Mona & Portrait contain a note beloved by many- black current that my nose reads as cat wee, Porpora doesn’t have the BC so I layer Monaliza on top of her, a winter staple- EVERY year). Of these that I have bought - or will soon be buying more than once- they have all been completely uniform to my nose. I’m telling you this right here- Anubis 💋? She is sultry, & sexy (not to be confused with ‘slutty’) I can’t stop finding opportunities when nobody is looking to put my nose to my ‘sniffing wrist’ (I apply a double dose on this particular pulse point with all of my most addictive scents, for my smelling pleasure…. I wear every fragrance for myself) this says ‘I hide secrets behind this smile’…. I’m trying to think of a fragrance that has such a dominant air of confident mystery & intrigue & I’m sure something would come to mind if I had all day but in this moment, while she has melted into my skin becoming one with it (definitely not akin to any ‘skin scent’ … au contraire, the silage is gorgeous- wearing BA is more likely to get you compliments like ‘YOU smell amazing’ as opposed to ‘your perfume is lovely’. BA is for that woman who is driven about alone- content with her own company, who may meet for lunch at a place with white tablecloths & no vulgar pricing on the menu she doesn’t need to make reservations- the staff knows when she will be there & make sure that her table is ready to receive her, every time. She will typically meet with a man or woman they share in a drink & it seems more likely for business than pleasure for as soon as her guest has finished their lunch libation & leaves- she orders & consumes some of her favorite cuisine from that particular establishment- the Cobb Salad prepared tableside, she dabs the corners of her lips with her serviette, reapplies the perfect shade of red lipstick 💄 for her coloring & gets back into the back of the day’s black car & who knows where she goes & what she does - maybe she’s a multilingual spy, a diamond 💎 broker or even an assassin. What’s plain to see is that she’s no npc & she doesn’t get her hands dirty- definitely giving main character energy… this is pride in oneself must smell like in her world, she loves the finer things but she is never one to seek attention… if anything she makes every effort to remain elusive with no time or desire for such common persuits… she knows her true worth & even more importantly, all the monetary wealth in this world & those beyond could ever buy her shine, it’s simply not for sale …
