It's Never Too Late

Previously Known As Meraki
Crafted with Passion, Worn with Purpose

The fragrance opens with a delicate whisper of white flowers and wild jasmine, masterfully crafted by Rita Brena. Anna Chiara Di Trolio enhances its radiance with a fruity elegance of osmanthus, raspberry, cherry, and red berries, while Mariaceleste Lombardo introduces a rich, spicy heart featuring cardamom, saffron, and nutmeg.

At its core, Patrizia Cezza weaves an opulent balsamic accord, enriched with resins, amber, and myrrh, creating a deep, luxurious warmth. The composition is anchored by the leathery richness of guaiac wood, the bold strength of cedarwood and sandalwood, and the golden tobacco accord, carefully blended by Dominique Moellhausen for a subtly smoky finish.

Finally, Michelle Moellhausen’s touch brings a creamy and refined depth with the smooth, powdery richness of tonka bean and vanilla, lending a warm and gourmand allure. This intricate and expertly balanced creation, perfected by Moellhausen Perfumers in Dubai, is a fragrance designed to leave a lasting impression—an unforgettable olfactory signature that sets a new standard in perfumery.

Layers beautifully adding so much depth …

When I first got this compact size, when the juice was newly mixed I wasn’t all that interested & for that I’m glad since I gave her 5-6 weeks for the aroma chems, naturals, perfume oils all some time to marry, mature & oxidize a bit & now I’m having to ‘ration’ her (she’s strong- & when I get a full bottle she will have months to get even stronger) so I still have a bit left in a month or 2 to layer her with fragrances on their way to me… right now my favorite combo’s involve my new ‘rainy weather go-go’s - she also tweaks Gris Ch@rnel (or schmoop) enough to renew my interest in that DNA BUT, rainy, stormy weather is an almost every day thing here in FL… Alexandria has the only ‘Portrait of a Lady’ schmoop that smells anything like the original… it’s a masterpiece in modern perfumery the og & it’s expensive in large part due to the quality of ingredients used in the composition- there is NO $20-$35 schmoop that can do it justice, trust me on that & save your $ (they have had years to sit - still not going to mirror the smell of a gorgeous jammy rose accord without REAL rose absolute) … Monaliza (she’s an Alexandria frag) is gorgeous & they didn’t skimp on the pricier ingredients). More to the point, I am not someone who gravitates to most rose centric fragrances BUT the exception’s are a red berry sweetened jammy rose with incense & the very typical Middle Eastern style rose & oud. To me they have a somber aura to them & the incense gives them the atmosphere of a Parisian cathedral, I could swear that there is an accord that smells of the rich patina of the wood pews after hundreds of years of waxing, the ceremonial incense that seeps into them & the smell of so many bibles, hymn books & other items kept in a dark sometimes humid environment within an ancient house of worship. ‘It’s Never Too Late’ while gorgeous all by herself is now a favorite addition to these rasberry, red berry rose or Oud rose compositions that for me offer a unique go to combo that has a moodiness & depth that matches the vibe of overcast, stormy weather when you want an alternative to Gris Ch@rnel or extrait (or schmoop) alone. Breathes fresh air into compositions that can become boring when used solo every time it rains. I can hardly wait to report on other combos that it enhances… this review is plenty long enough so I will expound on what’s next some other day 🙂

This embodies the DNA of intio side effect. Maybe blended a little more sweet but in a subtle way.

10/10 if you like intio side effect save the moeny and just get this. This is pretty spot on i have both. Intio outperforms in the drydown but this outperforms intio side effect in every other category IMO. 125 bucks for 100ml of initio level fragrance at a fraction.. blind buy safe if you planned to buy side effect.
