Black book

Black Book is a very sophisticated, confident, “Grown Man” type of fragrance. A must have in anyone’s collection.

I can’t get enough of this. I bought the decanter and followed up with 100ml. I’ll be wearing this daily (honestly still rotate in some other favorites) and I’m excited to see how it performs in the warmer months. Definitely at least sample this if you get the chance! (Tom Ford gonna set you back $1200 for the large bottle!) It is clean and refined. A gentleman cologne without heavy musks trying to force it masculine. It’s fresh cut lumber with some nuance you can’t quite put your finger on.

Black Book offers good longevity but can become a skin scent within several hours, although it lingers longer on clothing. Its projection starts strong, then becomes more moderate, making it suited to nighttime or winter wear rather than daily use.
Overall, Black Book is an ideal choice for fans of unconventional, sophisticated scents, though it’s best suited for someone who enjoys complex and slightly challenging fragrances.

After sampling the original I decided to see how Alexandria matched up, as I have been very satisfied with the other fragrances I have purchased. Specifically ombre noir 2.0 and Arabian horse. Both excellent, accurate and rewriting the story of longevity and performance.
After letting black book sit for a while, I found that it is incredibly close to the original, strong and nowhere near your typical offering. Well done Hani!
Ive found it to be very enigmatic and being a man in my 50s, im approached mostly by women much younger who give mad appreciation and attention due to it.
Quite an attention grabber and in my view, more suited for the VERY confident, more rugged BDE type who doesn’t give any mind to what others think.
This is absolutely not a young man’s or beta male scent, for the record.
