I got a sample of this and immediately emailed asking about this scent cause I couldn’t find it now here we are I had to grab it asap it’s beautiful aromatic I thought it had a touch of oud it doesn’t it’s signature scent worthy I think Alexandria with another banger

I received a sample of Imperial Grove in a recent order and had no idea what it was. I had to email Alexandria and ask them about it, to which they responded that it was an unreleased fragrance that they couldn’t comment on further. Now, I see they have officially released it, so I can comment on it. I have not tried Bois Impérial, so that is why it was so unfamiliar to my nose. I actually fully expected their to be a fig or melon note in this fragrance somewhere, as I get a nice juicy, green, fleshy fruit or rind note. But I guess that is just the vetiver mixing with the grapefruit nuances of the timur pepper, possibly? Anyway, it’s not bad by any means, but it’s just not really for me. It’s a wonderfully crafted scent with solid performance, so AF did nothing wrong here. It’s just not my style. Surprising considering how beloved and talked about Essential Parfums Bois Impérial is, I would have expected something a lot better and more woodsy, given the name, but, as we all know, scent is very subjective, and that’s one of the most wonderful about the world of fragrance!
