Very good cologne and is a sleeper

You have earned yourselves a new customer. I ordered, and received two bottles of this, and it is spot on with Black Opium. Here is the better part. London Destination is a little stronger, and lasts quite a bit longer than the original. You're definitely getting your money's worth when you buy this. I do consider this to be Unisex.

I love this fragrance, it's quote a steal, I don't get why people sleep on this one. You are missing out. Get it while you can.

Im a newish fragrence hobbyist. All of the reddit boards and tiktoks rave about Black Opium, but I've never smelled it in person before (I don't do department stores) so of course I wasn't going to spend $150+ on a bottle of perfume that I've never smelled. So I opted for a blind buy of the dupe here on Alexandria. When I got my bottle in it was love at first sniff. London Destination is easily one of my most favorite scents in my quickly growing collection, and has remained a top favorite even with all of the new incoming scents I've been buying and adding to my collection.

Well about a week ago I saw that Sephora was offering a YSL holiday gift set that included two 7.5ml mini dapper bottles of Libre and Black Opium for $35 free shipping. I went ahead and pulled the trigger bc I've desperately been wanting to try Libre and I thought it would be fun to compare London Destination to its original inspiration. (plus I thought having two lil baby mini perfumes that are just smaller scales of the full sized bottles would look so cute on my perfume display shelves.) well I just got the package in today and instantly pulled out Black Opium to compare to London Destination and I gotta say, it's shocking how much more I like London Destination than Black Opium.

First and foremost, London Destination is not a clone of Black Opium, far from it. The similarities are there, but they're more like first or second cousins rather than twins. London Destination is definitely more unisex leaning than Black Opium. Black Opium is a great scent don't get me wrong, I get the hype. But its more feminine, definitely more floral, and honestly more innocent than London Destination, which is just straight up bold, if that makes sense.

Black Opium is the sweet, 22 year old, girl next door, student teacher at a high school. She is almost done with her last semester of college and is ready to take on the world. She just bought her first designer perfume as an early graduation gift to herself bc she wants to be sophisticated in this new stage of her life.

London Destination is the 30 something, sexy, head principal of the high school Black Opium is student teaching at, and has been since she got the promotion 5 years ago, and you better not forget it. London Destination click clacks up and down the halls of the high school all day in her 4 inch pumps and tightly taylered pant suits. She's been there done that, and she's not taking any of your shit. She's so sexy and just absolutely fine as hell.

I simply cannot express enough how much better London Destination is that it's original, Black Opium. Save you're money, buy London Destination, and smell better than the Black Opium girlies.
